Blizzard's inaugural global esports league needed a broadcast identity built from scratch. Thirty-three weeks of live programming across ABC, ESPN, Disney XD, and Twitch.
The Work
In 2017, Stoke Foundry partnered with MLG and Activision Blizzard to support the launch of their global esports league. As showrunner, Matt West led creative development for a slate of original programming — from live broadcast to shoulder content, branded content, and social media. We built and managed a team of producers, shooters, editors, and animators that defined the look and feel of Overwatch League's content across every platform.
